Lady Matilda Sterling boudoir bed doll is an
authentic and original boudoir bed doll in excellent condition. The
only touch ups to her face was to her beautiful blue eyes. Her inset
eyelashes are original. She has a mend to the composition on the
underside of her fingers on her right hand. Her dark blond mohair
wig is also original to her and a little bit thin typical for this
type of dollie.
Her gown is made of peach colored satin taffeta
with vintage soft lace and plenty of ruffles. There are several
layers and the gown will lay flat all the way around her and has
matching pantaloons. Her little hat was made by me from some extra
fabric I found in the sleeves. I added the embellishment (pin) at
her neck.
This dollie is a wonderful example of a higher
end Sterling which are getting harder to find. She is ready to grace
your boudoir.
